Leicester City has announced the Lsigning of Nigerian Forward Kelechi Iheanacho on a 5-year deal from Manchester City for an undisclosed fee though it is believed to be around £25M.

Iheanacho, who’ll be wearing the no.8 shirt for the Foxes is the third Nigerian to sign for the club , following the signings of Wilfred Ndidi and Ahmed Musa last summer.
Speaking to LCFC TV, he said:
“It feels good and I’m happy to be part of this team. I know the ambition of the team and speaking with the manager, he let me know what I need to do – to help the team achieve what they want. I was convinced and I’m happy to be here.
“I was happy speaking with the manager, knowing what the team wants. It gives me more confidence that I will fit in this team and hopefully I’ll achieve a lot.”
The former Manchester City forward scored nine goals (and assisted three), having only started equally as many games last season. Goals against Manchester United, Southampton, Borussia Monchengladbach and Celtic further prove how good he is and how very good he can be.
